In his pictorial work, Nicolas Ranellucci questions the narration and temporality of the fairy tale. In this manner, each stratum of his painting, which constitutes a precise moment of the mythical hunting tale, captures and immobilizes playful and preposterous elements. The artist juxtaposes the remnants of an unforeseeable course in a mise-en-scène provoking the emergence of their impossible simultaneity.
