Although generated through a series of random processes, at a certain point the germ of an idea was suggested by the forms on my screen. From that moment on I worked to enhance this “thematic” kernel—further developing the formal means in a way that strengthened the work, while remaining as faithful as possible to the original “discovery.” Throughout this phase various narrative possibilities presented themselves, and these contributed in different ways to what would become the final painting. Abstraction allows each of us to create a different story from the same image. By alluding more to a sensation than to a definitive meaning, my title seeks to maintain this space of freedom for the sensibilities of others.
