Auger, Stéphanie

Stéphanie Auger draws inspiration from her relationship with the territory and her environment to work with color, light, and space. She values different methods of paint production and the transformation of color materials, drawing inspiration from them, respecting them, or diverting them. She creates monochromatic objects whose materiality, density, and presence contrast with the fragile surface of the paper as a support. They also bear the traces of her own occupation of a space, defined gestures, and actions that gradually construct these forms with minimalist contours.
