Secret Self Vs. Authentic Self is a new work that was developed while in residency at Banff. It speaks directly to Riddle’s dedication to furthering the painting process, as well as transformation, tender care, feminist activity, and play. The painting-cum-object folds in on itself and carries a second work in its front pocket as a perfect fit and gentle embrace.
