Mbuyi, Aimé

Aimé Mbuyi is a multidisciplinary artist born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and raised in Montreal, and whose practice is influenced by the dialogue of these two cultures.Through his art, the artist explores and highlights various issues related to the Black diasporas in Canada. He also studies the notion of usefulness and uselessness of subjects, and experiences the dialogue between materials.
