Biographical note
The artist primarily works using literature as a starting point, by transposing/translating/subliming the writings into space and images. Building formal and narrative constellations, her installations relate the experience of the material and psychic body through representations that often recall dream stories and paranormal phenomena. Sculpture, textile, embroidery, drawing, and watercolour construct her tentacular world. She seeks a dizzying effect: a certain theatricality that sheds light on the darker, but always sublime side of humans.
