Photographie argentique 35mm, 2020
Landscape portrait (2) comes from the series of photographs Seeing through landscape. This series of photographs is the result of My-Van Dam' research into states of sensitivity through nature during her travels. The artist's intention was to capture sensitive states from nature through postures that she believes evoke both fragility and strength. In other words, these are landscape portraits that highlight the complexity of these beings.
For this project, the visual artist was interested in environmental and psychological resilience and tried to link the two.
