Icarus, an etching, is part of a new body of work of the same name in which the artist dwells on Icarus’ last vision. After disobeying his father flying out the labyrinth, Icarus finds himself alone, intoxicated by the grandeur. What he sees is the sun, and what blinds him is the light. Before his fall, he might have a vision. These new works grapple with the impulse that drives human beings to always go further.
