Pastel à la cire et crayon de couleur sur toile de lin tendue sur panneau, 2023
Skin 6 is part of a body of work from 2023 that featured a series of intricate, colourful compositions employing forms drawn from diverse stages of spider development. Smaller works, such as Skin 6, are crop details from larger works. Red lines work their way through the composition; the forms suggest arachnids and insect-like creatures in a state of becoming.
