Dolbec, Martine

Martine Dolbec lives and works in Quebec. She holds a master's degree in visual arts from Laval University and is currently completing a doctorate in performing and screen arts. Her process is part of a multidisciplinary approach. She is interested in many mediums, including drawing, collage, video and sound research. Her creations are most often minimalistic and leave room for empty space and white. Her collages and drawings are handmade and come with a certain attention to detail and precision. Gesture counts for a lot, with particular attention to the accidents of the course.
