Rihab Essayh est une artiste née au Maroc qui a grandi à Montréal. Ses recherches, qui portent sur les questions d’isolement et de déconnexion à l’ère numérique, imaginent des avenirs de force douce et de reconnexion sociale en prêtant une attention accrue à la couleur, au costume, à la tactilité et au son. Rihab Essayh a obtenu sa maitrise en beaux-arts à l’Université de Guelph en 2022. Son travail a été présenté au Conseil des arts de Montréal, à la Centrale Powerhouse Gallery (Montréal), à Never Apart (Montréal), à l’espace The Plumb (Toronto), à l’Art Gallery de Guelph, à l’Union Gallery (Kingston), à l’Arsenal (Toronto) et à McBride Contemporain (Montréal). Elle fait partie de la cohorte Artch 2019.
