Biographical note
For several years, my research has focused on "sonorous" textiles. Through my work, I establish a connection between the sonic potential of the textile workshop, the fibers, and the textile object itself. The rhythms of weaving and textile work serve as inspirations for creating my sound compositions. This narrative, which involves attentive listening from the viewer, highlights the performative aspect of needle arts. The amalgamation of the textile object and the enclosed sound memories is linked to bodily movement and ancestral textile knowledge.
