My practice is centred on exploring how imagery translates from on-screen and virtual space into tangible objects. Inspired by design and painting, my work investigates how colour, texture, and shapes are perceived. This body of work originates from screen-based technologies, which have been brought into space through the process of translating. To translate, in this context, signifies the shift from one condition to another, which is achieved through the process of re-photographing and re-editing to explore the breakdown and re-construction of the image.
