Biographical note
I explore the relationship between the physical world, time and perception by examining the transformation and production of space. My work is at the intersection of photography and sculpture, moving through a collision of materials and transfiguration of assembled sculptural forms. I fabricate and assemble objects that I stack and arrange, as a starting point, to make new documents by applying the lumen print process through different exposures. Rather than focusing on the production of meaning, I seek to generate new ways of seeing by drawing attention to the ways in which light and shadow sculpt a new optical space.
