Micro-landscapes offering a moment of contemplation, a meditation on the temporal stratification of matter that constitutes American national parks whether it is rocks, minerals or giant sequoias shot during a road trip in the world before. The places where those images came from produce a sensory overload of exceptional beauty. The act of documenting their smallest details was a way for me to cope with them. The prints from this series echoes the process: their scale invites the viewer to get closer to the matter of a specific landscape and perceive it in a different light.
