These are photographs of double-sided images placed on a light table that provides backlighting to the entire composition. This method creates interesting transparencies that would be impossible otherwise. The revelation of the final product surprises us each time, like the unveiling of a truth. Similar to digital collage, this new medium differs in the absence of choice in subject matter. The subjects are imposed, and only the artist's artistic judgment determines the viability of the artwork and its photographic creation. Like any collage, it is a playful exercise rooted in Dadaism.
